A Dream Will Never Leave Us Empty Handed

Life is But a Dream

Everything man has created started as an idea. Without a dream there would be no boat to row gently down the stream. There would be no plane to fly to distant lands. There would be no rocket to the moon. It all starts in our mind.

The ability to dream is a gift. A dream is a vision born of the heart. Our dreams are not an escape from reality, they are there to become reality.

Yes, in life there will be obstacles, there will be difficulties. Making a living can be difficult. Raising a family can be challenging. Many forms of trials and hardships can befall us. But difficulties, hardships, and trials can happen to anyone, at any time, so why not dream?

Dream Again

What if I fail? What if my dream doesn't come true?

You dream again.

Very few dreamers, if any, get their first (second, third, …) dream right. Let’s get rid of the notion that we only have one or two big dreams. No, we have a heart full of dreams, and a mind full of ideas, and a lifetime to try them all. In fact, the more dreams we dream, the better we are at dreaming!

Too many people give up on their dreams. They say “It wasn’t meant to be.” or “I wasted years on this dream.” But even if a dream turns out to be a dead end, you did not lose. Dreams will come. Dreams will go. But a dream will never leave you empty handed. You gained skills and experience that can fuel the next dream.

The act of dreaming is more important than the dream itself. Don't get attached to one specific dream. Let it go. Dreams have a life of their own. It is important to keep dreaming no matter what. Spend your entire life making dreams come true. Use your dreams to help others.

Never be afraid to dream, because a dream never dies. It always rises to new life.

This is the way to live a great life.

The Gift of a Dream

Our dream will never leave us empty handed.

Every second we spend on following a dream is of eternal value.

Our dream is our teacher and guide. Each dream will hone our skills and bring us new insights and clarity.

So dream on. Dream on. Dream until your dreams come true (then dream some more).
