What is a Dream
There are a thousand definitions for a dream.
A dream is not a fantasy, or a temporary escape from reality. A fantasy will never be real.
A Potential Reality
A dream is a potential reality. It is an invisible image of something before it becomes visible. The purpose of a dream is to become a reality. To dream is to see a better future, to take hold of it, and make it real.
Born From the Heart
The heart is where the flames of our passion dance upon the embers of our calling. Our heart is our source of power and endurance. Without the burning desire of our heart, the soul will grow weary. The mind will want to quit. Willpower will fail. But the heart says, get up! Keep moving! I see it, and it shall be!
A Divine Gift
The ability to dream is a divine gift. It is a gift that sets us apart from every creature on the planet. It is a gift that should not be taken for granted or ignored. It is the power to see a better future. A future so compelling that it makes us say, "I must make this real."
One Clear Definition
What we need is one clear definition; a definition we can build on.
A dream is a specific way we choose to live and express our purpose through using our imagination, gifts, and the desires of our heart in order to do something deeply fulfilling for us, and beneficial for others.
The dreamers who came before us call us to awaken our dreams, bring them into the light of the world, and establish for them a strong foundation to rest upon.
“Somehow I can't believe that there are any heights that can't be scaled by a man who knows the secrets of making dreams come true.” —Walt Disney
