Life is to be lived, and lived abundantly.
My Problem
Dreams are difficult. For over 15 years I looked for a guide for pursuing my dreams. I spent month after month reading article after article, watching videos, taking courses, guessing, and trying. But nothing worked for me. Nothing. So I stopped looking and turned my focus on creating my own guide. I began to think deeply about what I truly wanted to accomplish. I compiled hundreds of notes, questions, problems, and ideas. I condensed, organized, and revised month after month, until I began to have clarity.
Out of my frustration came a new vision for my life.
Then it became my mission.
And now, I exercise my calling by writing the books I was looking for and encourage others to follow their dreams.
The Problem With Books
The vision I have for my books came from the problems and frustrations I had while following my dreams.
Their path doesn’t fit me. There are a lot of successful people out there, but their path to success didn’t fit me.
Filled with fluff. Apparently, book publishers tell authors that books need to be a certain length, so they fill up page after page with stories and repetition. This might be OK if you’re reading one book, but if you’re trying to understand an entire domain, reading book after book that is half fluff is a frustrating waste of life. Most success oriented books are geared toward career or entrepreneurial success. Self-help books don't deal with calling and creating an abundant and fulfilling life. And I have no interest in “crushing it.”
Too much belief, not enough how. All the universe conspires to help you to achieve it. How many people spend years waiting for this conspiricy to deliver on this promise? Even the bible says “Faith without works is dead.” Visualization is important. So is faith. But action and direction produce results.
Too many stories. Almost every book in the self-help-motivation-success genre spends too much time on success stories and unnecessary details. That is understandable, as most people expect books to be entertaining.
The many books I have read offered insight on this and that, but no instructions on what to build, how to build, and why build at all. I’ve burned much time and I feel a sense of urgency. This I have learned, success is taking ownership of your life. I had to take ownership of the problem, and make my own way.
My Approach
Our dreams and definitions of success are different. We each have our own calling, purpose, and dream. However there are common practices.
These are the things I want:
Show me an orderly path.
Show me what's most important.
Show me the major components.
Show me these things, then I'll figure out the rest my way. I’ll alter and adjust to fit my needs. That's the approach I use in my books on following your dreams. I start with the mindset of a FOUNDER. Then progress to a framework for a BUILDER. Then conclude with the key practices of a MASTER.
I use the 80/20 rule to limit my books to the most powerful principles.
I Leave out the fluff.
I focus on unchanging principles.
I create a clear path.
I personally use and continuously refine everything I create.
This is my vision and approach to the books I write.
My Books are For Seekers
My books are for dreamers.
My books are for people who are seeking.
My books are for people who have a sense of calling.
My books are for people who sense there is more to life.
My books are for people who are dissatisfied with the status quo.
My books are for people who have a sense of urgency.
Write Your Song
I’ve always wanted to write my own songs. I’m just now learning what that really means.
Write your song.
Write your story.
Sing it. Tell it.
Someone is seeking.
Someone is waiting.
Someone will never know.
Unless we sing our song, and tell our story.

To your success!
